Jennifer Krongard was born in the small rural town of Nursery, Texas in 1975. Her love of creating art started at a very young age. She spent many a long day on a farm creating her own fun by drawing, painting and dreaming of being an artist. When she entered high school she began to develop her gift of creativity and won numerous high school art awards and competitions. There was no doubt that Jenny would pursue art as a career. She graduated with honors in 1999 from Texas A&M - University Corpus Christi with a bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a teaching certification. She went on to teach elementary art for 5 years in Alief ISD. In her spare time, she enjoyed painting on canvas and painting custom murals for her friend’s and their children.

In 2005, with much encouragement from her husband David, she decided to make art her full time endeavor by starting up Jen’s Decorative Painting.

Jenny welcomes new and challenging projects that help her grow as an artist, and she enjoys giving each customer a unique piece of creativity to beautify their living space.

Jenny lives in the Greatwood subdivision of Sugar Land with her husband David, her little boy Ian, and her dogs Sophie and Sammy. She also enjoys creating handmade stone silver and beaded jewelry pieces, cooking and gardening.
